Biography
Dr. Tyukavina is a member of the GLAD team.
Dr. Tyukavina is part of the Committee on Earth Observation Satellites (CEOS) Working Group on Calibration and Validation (WGCV) - Land Product Validation (LPV) subgroup working on quantitative validation of higher-level global land products.
As the LPV Land Cover Co-Lead, Dr. Tyukavina is currently working on updating the guidelines for the validation of large-scale (global to national) land cover and change maps and is co-organizing a workshop on agricultural land product (EAV) generation, validation and use, to develop a community consensus protocols for Cropland and Crop Type validation.
