GEOGLAM
GEOGLAM

The Group on Earth Observations Global Agricultural Monitoring Initiative (GEOGLAM) works on producing and disseminating relevant and timely information on agricultural conditions to improve food security at national to global scales. GEOGLAM facilitates Earth Observation (EO) Data Coordination to develop EO requirements for agriculture by partnering with CEOS. GEOGLAM’s Essential Agricultural Variables (EAV) Working Group characterizes the variables needed for the monitoring and analysis of agricultural land use and productivity and can be measured and inferred from satellite data.
